“My Future, My Responsibility” – The 100 Charity Project!

[ Written on April 13 2015 by Sarah ]

The 100 Charity Project was founded as an endeavor that will use fan engagement, social media, and outreach to focus the incredible passion, support, and enthusiasm of The 100′s fan base and following toward making the world a better place. Inspired by the war ravaged world the show takes place in, we’re here to motivate fans to take a look at the world we live in now and see what can be changed, bettered, and saved. There’s an opportunity for all fans to be like the heroes they see on the show and make a huge difference in the world we live in for the better.

In case you’re wondering what that means in simplistic terms, we started this as a sort of central hub. All we’re going to do here is choose charities, choose causes, and choose projects and schedule games, movements, fund raisers, auctions, awareness weeks and more to get everyone involved. We might spend a week educating everyone about an illness or cause and the month after that auctioning cool items to fans to raise money for another charity. We want to keep things new, fresh, exciting and changing so that everyone always feels energized toward the causes we’re supporting.

This endeavor’s biggest task is to foster positivity so before you ask “what if I don’t have money?” or “can I participate if I live far away” remember that just by spreading the word, just be being a positive force in this fan base, you’re already helping! Love each other, help each other, motivate, push, and educate each other. Then say it with us: Life should be about more than just surviving.
