01. The 100
Set ninety-seven years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity’s lone survivors sends one hundred juvenile delinquents back to Earth, in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.
Simon and Kit, two young leaders of an active senior tour group, out on an adventure to a small-town rodeo festival located deep in the woods. It’s a great experience for the group… until they try to leave. Together the group must fight to survive the night from relentless bloodthirsty cowboys on the hunt for human livestock.
Set in summer 1983 on the south shore of Long Island, the movie follows a group of working-class young people as they work their summer jobs, fall in and out of love and wrestle with what the future holds when the summer ends and the real world beckons.

Tribeca will host the New York premiere of Jason Reitman’s Charlize Theron-starrer Tully, written by Diablo Cody in her latest pairing with Reitman and Theron, with whom she worked on Juno (Reitman) and Young Adult (Reitman and Theron). That screening will be followed by a talk between Reitman and writer-director Tamara Jenkins. Tully, a comedy about a harried mother (Theron) and her free-spirited nanny (Mackenzie Davis), received a surprise Sundance screening, after which The Hollywood Reporter’s John DeFore called it a “funny and piercing take on the self-abnegation of parenting.”
The Tribeca fest will also host the world premiere of Burns’ latest film, Summertime, which is set in the summer of 1983 at Rockaway Beach.

EXCLUSIVE: Caitlin Stasey, Lindsey Morgan and Zoe Levin are set to co-star in Edward Burns coming-of-age film Summertime, which will begin shooting next month in New York.
The pic, set in summer 1983 on the south shore of Long Island, follows a group of working-class young people as they work their summer jobs, fall in and out of love and wrestle with what the future holds when the summer ends and the real world beckons.
Burns and Aaron Lubin are producing the project with Achates Film Partners on board to exec produce.
Stasey will co-star as Suzy, the wild child who skipped town the day after high school graduation but now is back after her marriage hit the skids. Stasey, who starred in Fox’s just-canceled comedy APB and Hulu’s Please Like Me, is repped by Authentic Talent & Literary Management and Gersh.
Levin will play Lydia, the beauty in the group who always tries to guide her friends to do the right thing. Repped by Anonymous Content, CAA and Patty Felker, she co-starred in Fox’s short-lived series Red Band Society and appeared in Gia Coppola’s drama Palo Alto.
Lindsey, repped by CAA and Luber Roklin Entertainment, stars as Raven Reyes on CW’s postapocalyptic drama The 100, which has been renewed for Season 5.
